PKPD served as liturgical consultant for the expansion and renovation of Congregation Sinai. The Ark at Congregation Sinai is integrated into the interior finish of the multi-purpose chapel and gathering space. The ark is intended to have more or less of a dominant presence depending on the usage of the room. The ark is integral the buildings architecture with the ner tamid window that is visible from both the inside and outside. The contours of the interior of the ark reference the allusions to light, flames, and the ethereal qualities of the sacred space.
